  • African Agricultural Technology Foundation

    Provides access to information about Tilapia which is the fastest growing aquaculture crop in the United States and around the world, including global market and production research.

  • Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS)

    Information on agricultural trade and APHIS's International Technical and Regulatory Capacity Building Center.

  • Aquaculture and Fisheries (AquaFish) CRSP

    Research on aquatic resources value chain, training small holders in improved fisheries management and aquaculture production.

  • Aquaculture Without Frontiers

    Includes scientific articles, factsheets, magazines, newsletters, and slideshows related to aquaculture in the developing world.

  • BASIS Research Program on Poverty, Inequality and Development (BASIS)

  • Guardian Global Development News

    Provides regular news updates on issues of global development. Currently features information on the Sahel food crisis, the latest climate change projections, and Brazil harvest trends.

  • Horticulture CRSP

    Resources on horticultural organizations and the Global Horticulture Knowledge Bank which features technical and marketing tools.

  • Institute of Food Technologists (IFT)

    Features many publications including a regular issues of the techincal journals Food Science, Food Technology, Food Science Education, and Comprehensive Reviews in Science and Food Safety.   • Integrated Pest Management CRSP

  • International Institutue for Tropical Agriculture (IITA)

  • International Livestock Research Institue (ILRI)

  • International Water Management Institue (IWMI)

    Technical and economic publications on water management, such as Decentralized rainwater harvesting in Madhya Pradesh and Irrigation service providers: a business plan - increasing access to water for small holders in Sub-Saharan Africa.

  • Livestock-Climate Change CRSP

    Includes research briefs and videos on topics such as pastoralist decision making during droughts and erosion reduction.

  • Modernizing Extension and Advisory Services

    Extension systems in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Central America need to undergo significant change if they are to effectively serve the food security and economic development needs of resource-poor men and women farmers. MEAS is a USAID Center of Excellence that seeks to promote and support such endeavors.
